Extruder and hot end do not work correctly on ramps 1.4

Hello all,
I am a newbie on 3d printing, and electronics.
My Monoprice Select Makers V 2 (Wanhao i3 clone) has fatal problem, where its extruder capacitor blew up. I decided then to changed the whole motherboard to ramps. I found 2-in-1 sainsmart ramps board. I since installed the board on, until I tried to adjust the extruder motor.
The following are the problem that I have:
1. The hot end does not heat up, and it kept throwing heater decoupled error on the control board. I disabled the test on the firmware, the error disappeared, but the hot end is still not heat up. Out of the curiosity, I moved the wiring for extruder on the board, from ext0 to ext1. Hold and behold the extruder start to heat up. Is this correct? Btw I clone the ext1 port for my 2nd z axis . Since I have 2 z motor. The z axis works perfect.
2. The extruder motor does not work. It wired to ext0 port. I tried to adjust best, but it still does not feed the filament in. I can see the controller showed the filament moved, but not physically.
I am running out of idea on what should I do her, please I need help. Thank you.
