New hotend lower and crashing into bed

I have a delta printer that I changed the hotend and it is now lower than the old hotend. My printer uses pressure sensors for leveling and now crashes in to the bed.  I would like to know what settings to change for the new hotend height. 
I did try changing zmax but that did not help my printer seemed to ignore the changed setting and still homed at the zmax of 350.
