When calibrating Z, need to move below 0, how can I?

I am trying to calibrate my Z, and currently Z0 is too high, I want to move it down towards the bed and find the exact amount it is high, but I am guessing software endstop prevents this, even if I set G92 Z5.  Is there a way to temp disable software endstop?
